Oh, it feels like yesterday. WHen the Wildhearts split up in the previous millenium, I would have never believed I'd see them live, ever. Then they came back in 2001, and I flew to London to see them. And then they stuck together and another dream came true: the Wildhearts back in Italy!!! Wow!!! They were invited on The Darkness Tour, and they joined in. Woooow....!!!

I was lucky enough to get backstage before the show began, while my fellow Metal Shock photographer was taking some shoots. Here's some behind-the-photos photos... |
"Behind the band", even...! |
Random Jon Poole, bassist extraordinaire, was the best in front of the camera... a new pose for every shot! |
CJ was good too, since he was taking inspiration from the movie Zoolander, producing a "Blue Steel" or "Magnum" expression in each shot. Eheheh! Genius! |
Ok, now comes the real deal: the live show! |
Jon Poole and his bass. |
Imagine having this man-beast looming over you like this... naked! Live reports from other shows tell us Jon likes to show off his equipment a bit... thank God he didn't do it tonight, with me at such close range! |
Ah... superstar poses! |
CJ! Does anyone know what the "C" stands for? What's his name, in other words? |
His guitar looks amazing! |
Ahhh... that always-elusive drummer photo! I managed to make it at last! Stidi in all his singing glory! |
Hanoi Rocks = Great! |
Time for a closeup on the Ginger one. |
Stage interaction... |
A man absorbed in his thoughts, playing his guitar... |
...time to turn the lights on over that man! Its ginger! WIth a funny expression! |
The "new" Wildhearts put alot of emphasis on CJ singing and composing songs. His voice and Ginger's mix in perfectly! |
The red lights god! |
Time for the setlist. If i remember it right, the order was this: I Wanna Go Where The People Go, TV Tan, Greetings From Shitville, Vanilla Radio, Jonesing For Jones, Beautiful Thing You, Nita Nitro, Top Of The World, Caprice.
