Are they the living embodiement of Spinal Tap for the new millenium? I've always believed so, even more so when I saw the "Christman Song" video... LOL. But anyway, they put up a good-enough show to keep me entertained, and they invited The Wildhearts on tour with them (well, just over a year ago, the Wildhearts were the headliners for Uk shows, and the Darkness were their supporting back!). All
this is good. So here's some good pics for you.

Ok, here's a stolen pic. Can you see the gear that Justin would be wearing during the evening? Eheheh. |
The concert began with a backlights-show. People cheered as Justin was making funny moved behind the curtains. |
And here's the real show! Lights! Guitars! Screaming voices! Rock and roll! |
You gotta love the pink-and-white striped trousers... with the devil's tail on them! |
Dan Hawkins, brother of Justin and notorious Thin Lizzy fan. |
And here's mister Justin Hawkins in person! |
I'm right at his feet. |
Frankie Poullain pointed at my camera, as if to say "follow me"... so I did. |
He put on quite a show. And he's soooo seventies! |
Or maybe he's soooo "Village People"? |
What did I tell you about him "being so seventies"? Look at his stage antics and dances! |
This is probably the best shot I took in the evening. |
This ain't bad either. LOL. |
Justin did a lot of talking to the crowd. And a lot of tongue-in-cheek swearing too, he was SO vulgur, actually! LOL. |
That tattoo with his name on his shoulder is so OTT. But after all, everything about this band is so OTT... |
Sadly, they didn't play the Xmas song. But all the rest was done... including of course "I believe in a thing called love", and a sing-a-long thing done on "We will rock you" by Queen. |
Ed Graham and his drumkit. |
A closeup on Frankie. |
Worship the cult of the crotch! LOL. |
Aw, I just couldn't resist it. I had to show this to you, too... ehehe ;-) |
