THE CRAMPS

07 September 2003

I would have never thought I'd ever see The Cramps live!!! But alas, they've made their comeback in 2003 with "Fiends of dope island", which was sounding exactly like a relic (a good relic!) off the 70s, and so we all knew it'd be good to see them live too. And what better occasion than the Independent Days Festival, where they were allowed the right amount of time for such a band... more or less a hour to shoot out all their classics.

Lux Interior. What a rocker. Still fitting perfectly in that leather outfit...
And here's his wife Poison Ivy, always glamour with a leopard-skin and a guitar.
Harry Drumdini at the drumkit.
And finally, Scott "Chopper" Franklin at the bass. Now you've met the whole band.
So now you can look at how they were set-up on the stage. Bass to the left, pretty woman to the right, madmen in the middle.
They're such a good couple, aren't they?
Except that they're both totally wild and mad. But sometimes it's a bonus thing.
Poison Ivy concentrating on her music.
Drumdini still hammering away.
This is one of those "can you feel it?"-blurry pics which are meant to give you a feeling of the frenesy onstage. Or maybe it's just a blurry pic.
Lux. Screaming, screaming, screaming into that microphone!
Eeeek! Someone please give him his sunglasses back!!! It's a bit scary!
Scary or wild?
